Richmondtown is no stranger to Staten Island luxury to high end real estate markets, and proof lies in the numbers. Making an appearance in this report, is the not so common million dollar home sale in today’s real estate market, at least locally, . At the high water mark, as reported by the New York City Department of Finance back in October of last year, the sale of 4000+ square foot home on Natick St., settled up at $1,175,000. 511 Lighthouse Ave, came in nearly at a million dollars, with a closing day price tag of $997,885 back in August. Well, its clear the area had some nice sized home sales, even when the real estate market was a bit soft in the high end market. However, if you are considering this area of Staten Island, here is information on latest home listings in Richmondtown.

Below is a rundown of home and land sales in Richmondtown as reported by the New York City Department of Finance, where you can pay among many things, your parking tickets. Anyhow, as my usual disclaimer goes; homes listed in this report may or may not be those marketed and/or sold by licensed real estate agents or brokers. Homes listed with a price of N/A means the home transferred on the day of the sale without money considerations. Look here: for live real estate data on Staten Island.

I live in Richmondtown, and was contemplating selling my home. My husband and I was considering putting it up for sale by owner. Me an my husband are still debating going this route because i fear for my personal safety. Have you heard of any stories about random who are in the neighborhood looking for "For sale by owner signs" in an attempt to get access into a home? I’m really nervous about it, thank you.
I was looking for homes in the Richmondtown area for sale on your website. Are your listings part of the MLS on Staten Island. My preference is finding a 2 family home, like a high ranch, but a single family will do. I not working with a real estate agent yet, maybe you can help me.
What are center hall colonial homes going for in Richmond Town? About 3200 square feet, with close to 6500 Square feet in land. Also is there new construction over on Mace St. ?
Hi Jennifer, While I don’t know of any personal stories of this type, it should be a concern. Having a home number in front of a home can lead someone with not so good intentions to call to see if your in the home. There are others like someone coming and knocking on the door, in order to scope the home for access points among other things. Safety is something that should be addressed and implemented by coming up with a plan. It is often understated about what can happen if you are not prepared. Ask for pre- qualification letters prior to any potential home-buyer scheduling an appointment to see the home. If you have any further questions you can call or email me. Best of luck, i am a Realtor as you probably know already, so if the process of selling by owner is a bit more than you bargained for, feel free to give me a call.
Hi Heather, yes the real estate listings on the site are accessed directly from the SIBOR MLS, in what is known as the List-it gateway. However, I will send you over some homes to look at within your criteria, a will set up an appointment as well. I look forward to working with you.
